American bald eagle with flag

today i painted an american bald eagle with a flag. i did it for my friend Torrey's Grandpa Ted as a gift. i'm happy to say he appreciated and liked it a lot. he served in the U.S. Army. his house is full of eagles, pictures of the American flag and all sorts of patriotic things. he wanted me to paint this on a wall in his backyard. the picture is found his favorite bbq hat, which of course i used as a reference.



i'm actually looking at something above the painting, which is why i'm facing up higher. haha.

last night an old highschool buddy called me up and asked me to paint the name of a car club he's in called Maniacos. here are some pics.

AV graffiti abstract

this is simply my initials "AV" in abstract graffiti form. i like the colors in this one a lot.

The Vampire Armand painting.

Armand is the vampire character created by Anne Rice. in one of her books, Armand is quoted saying, "if i am an angel, then paint me with black wings". that's what i did. i might even do more versions of this.

New painting. "Golgotha".

Golgotha is the name of the place where Jesus was crucified. it means "the place of the skull". this painting is for my girlfriend, Erin.

i just did another piece in my friend's room. they wanted me to paint it so i did. haha. yup.
